A good travel insurance plan includes health insurance and accident insurance. Accident insurance is also called accidental death insurance. Why is this coverage important? Most domestic life insurance excludes claims that result from accidental death occuring in foreign destinations. Typically, the amount of coverage in a standard travel insurance plan can range from $25,000 to $50,000.
